It scrolls when you speak. It waits when you don't.

Cuefyr listens as you read and moves the script to match your voice. Pause, and it pauses. Stumble and restart a sentence, and it snaps back to where you actually are. Floating over Zoom, Teams, or OBS, with every word processed on your own machine, so your script never leaves it. Record the take and it tells you how the delivery actually went.

How it works

Three steps. No manual after that.

1

Paste your script

Load a text file or paste straight in. Add stage directions in [brackets]; Cuefyr shows them to you and skips them when tracking your voice.

2

Hit start

A countdown, then the overlay floats above whatever you are presenting in: Zoom, Teams, OBS, or a camera pointed at a rig.

3

Just speak

Cuefyr keeps the line you are saying exactly where your eyes are. Slow down for emphasis, it slows. Pause to think, it waits. Fluff a line and start again, it finds you.

1

What Cuefyr is

The problem with every fixed-speed teleprompter, and the one idea that fixes it: a prompter that follows your voice instead of the other way around.

2

Scripts, layout, and Enhance

The script library, drag-and-drop import, and the Enhance button that reads your script and inserts delivery cues automatically.

3

Reports and Settings

The rehearsal report and trend view after a recorded take, plus the Settings page: language, orientation, devices, and licensing.

4

The voice-sync magic

The core demo: pause mid-sentence and watch it wait, stumble and repeat a line and watch it snap back to where you actually are.

5

Customize the prompter, and overlay mode

Font size, opacity, read-line position, mirror mode, and colours, then floating the prompter over any other app with overlay and click-through.

6

Record a take and get the report

Recording a rehearsal in-app, then the coaching report: pace, filler words, eye contact, and a confidence score that trends across reads.

Why it feels different

Built for how you actually speak

Sync that survives real speech

You pause, repeat yourself, skip a line. Cuefyr tracks where you actually are in the script, not where a timer thinks you should be.

Takes that sound like you talking, not reading.

An overlay over your real work

Borderless, transparent, always on top. Sit it under your webcam on live calls. Click-through mode passes your mouse straight through.

Eye contact, no second monitor.

Nothing leaves your machine

Speech recognition runs locally on your CPU. No account, no upload, no server. English, Urdu in true Nastaliq, and Hindi.

Scripts you would never paste into a cloud app.

A score, then the tape

Every read lands a delivery score out of 100, five voice foundations, benchmark bands, and coach's notes in plain language. Click a flagged line and the film room opens on that exact moment of your recording.

The rehearsal loop, closed in one click.

Three languages, on demand

English is ready after first run. Hindi and Urdu install from Settings when you want them, with Urdu right-to-left in a true Nastaliq face. The installer itself is 41MB, not half a gigabyte.

Only the models you actually read in.

Made for a real rig

Presenter clicker, arrow keys, and global overlay shortcuts. Mirror mode for a beam splitter. A target time that tells you if you are on pace. Scripts, recordings, and reports in folders you choose.

It fits the setup you already own.
Cuefyr Pro

A coach in the room, after every take

Reading the script well is half the job. Delivering it well is the other half, and nobody tells you the truth about that half. Cuefyr does.

Record your rehearsal in-app, voice only or camera and voice. When you stop you get a delivery score out of 100, the five voice foundations scored, your pace and pauses against the bands good delivery falls in, and coach's notes in plain language. All of it computed on your machine; your footage is yours alone.

Then the film room. Click any flagged line and your recording opens at that second, with the script line under the playhead. The report says you rushed the close, one click and you are watching yourself rush the close. Export the whole thing to PDF when someone else needs to see it.

  • 7 filler words, down from 15. Five cluster in the first 40 seconds.
  • You hit 4 of 6 [pause] cues. Both misses follow audience questions.
  • Eye contact held 91%. You looked away at the revenue figure, twice.

"The revenue miss in EMEA was primarily driven by currency headwinds and delayed renewals."
Coach's note: slow down through the EMEA numbers, that's where you rush. Click that line to watch it back.

Questions

Frequently asked

Does my script or audio ever leave my computer?

No. Speech recognition, and in Pro the camera and voice analysis, all run locally on your machine. Cuefyr sends nothing to any server. There is no account and no upload.

Does it work offline?

Yes. After installation, Cuefyr needs no internet connection at all.

Which languages does the voice sync support?

English, Urdu, and Hindi. Urdu displays right-to-left in a true Nastaliq typeface. Mid-sentence English and Urdu code-switching is on the roadmap.

Is the Mac version the same as the Windows version?

Yes. One codebase, same features, same sync engine on both.

Can people on my Zoom call see the prompter?

No. The overlay is on your screen only. When recording with OBS, capture the specific window or scene rather than the full display and the prompter stays out of the recording.

What does the free version leave out?

Very little. The whole prompter is free, including recording, with no watermark, no time limit, and no script-length cap. Coaching is where Pro sits: free gives you your first 3 reports in full, then each later read shows one real metric and keeps the rest for Pro.

How big is the download, and what does it need?

The installer is 41MB. On first launch it fetches the English speech packs once, with a progress bar. Hindi and Urdu are separate downloads you start from Settings only if you read in them.

Does it update itself?

Yes. Cuefyr checks quietly once per launch and offers the new version with its release notes. You can also check any time in Settings, where the full version history lives.

Is there a manual?

Yes, and it ships inside the app so it works offline. You can also read the full guide here: scripts and stage directions, the prompter, overlay, recording, the report, the film room, and troubleshooting.

Stop chasing the scroll.
